marconyTrump Has not Paused the Tariffs. The 10% tariffs are still imposed on everyone. He has just decided to only have a battle with Hyper high tariffs on one front (China) at a time (When that is over he will go round the world one country at a time).
Meanwhile he is still attacking every country in the world with 10% tariffs. Meanwhile he is still effectively taxing American people with what is effectively a 10% sales tax (But going to federal funds) on most things they buy and that's a kind of tax that hits the poorest the hardest.
By acting in the way he has and describing his current actions as a "Pause" he is trying to normalise the 10% tariffs which means he intends to keep them and the media seems keen to let him do that. Countries around the world must not let him. The world must not run round as little weak individuals. It must stand together with it's response and together it MUST respond.
